In an era where commercial music is increasingly AI-generated and algorithm-driven, sounding more alike with every passing day, we are the defiant counterpoint. Eliza’s Blackout is a commitment to connection: we make relentlessly self-made music, crafted from human experience.

We chose Eliza—the first computer chatbot—as the original metaphor for machine-made, fake conversation. She is the great-grandmother of all LLMs, representing machine thought. We are the opposite. The Blackout is the moment of truth.  When the machines fail, the lights go out, and the power goes down, we will still be here, performing raw, honest rock music. This is our call for human connection in a digital noise-chamber. We deliver songs with true substance and emotion. We want to say something, person to person, without algorithms, without fakes.
